If you have never had a massage and are uncertain what to expect, please read on...

"I became a Massage Therapist because I want to comfort people when [stuff] hits the fan. I wanted to provide a space where a person could arrive with armfuls of pain, gritted teeth and hunched shoulders and just put that down for a minute or 90, have a moment where they could just… breathe."

"No hard questions, no pushing for deep thinking, no demands for change or healing, only kindness, compassion, acceptance and attention. I wanted to help people find a sense of peace and safety in their bodies. I wanted to help people learn that their bodies could be nice places to be, that it was possible to feel good being in a body. To me it seemed obvious; that’s what Massage Therapists do."

WHAT MY CUSTOMERS SAY

  • Ivy

Working with Michael at Everybody Massage Therapy has been an amazing journey. I have had chronic back and glute pain on my left side for a few years and it has been difficult to get proper, quality care/treatment. I met with Michael almost three months ago and this the best I have felt since 2018. His bedside manner, ability to assess my pain has led to relief from years of pain. He is amazing, strong yet tender and has a warmth about him that instantly makes you welcome/ comfortable to be in his presence.
  • Julia

Michael is amazing! He's intuitive and kind and has great skills! He modifies the pressure of the massage so you can relax even with deep tissue work. I bought a gift card for my Mom and one for my sister and they both loved him and are seeing him regularly now too!
  • Derrick

I just had my second massage from Michael and cannot recommend his services enough! The atmosphere is extremely calming and Michael was very professional. And after our initial consultation and letting him know I had back surgery a few years ago, he seemed to know just how much pressure I needed and focused more on that area. Great experience, great guy...definitely book an appointment with Michael!

RATES & SERVICE INFORMATION

  1. 60 MIN: $90.00 / 90 MIN: $120.00 / 2 HOURS: $150.00
Unless otherwise noted all services are the same rate. I do not charge differently for different session types. You simply select the length of your session and we will discuss your needs and work accordingly.
  2. As perhaps the best-known type of bodywork performed today, one of the primary goals of Swedish massage is to relax the entire body. Swedish massage is also exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.
  3. This work was developed to help decrease acute and chronic pain and increase ease and range of motion. Please note that while this work is very effective, it is a slow and deep method and should not be considered if your desire is to relax and fall asleep on the table. Depending on the issue being addressed, treatment may involve gradual increase of depth over multiple appointments to condition the body to receive this work. If you like a deep massage you will love this work.
  4. This work will also involve some of the basic MRM - Myofascial strokes to assist in release tension in fascia and muscle tissue. Extra focus may given to trigger points and adhesion release if needed as well as stretching during this style. Generally, you become an active participant in this session.
  5. Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) is a manual therapy approach to musculoskeletal injuries using tools. IASTM tools can be used to address fascial restrictions as well as areas of the body that exhibit soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation or degeneration. As a rehab tool, IASTM reduces pain and increases range of motion.
  6. Hot stone massage involves the use of smooth, heated stones. I will place the hot stones on specific points on your body and also hold the stones while giving your massage. The localized heat and weight of the stones warm and relax muscles, allowing deeper pressure to those areas without causing discomfort. This treatment requires more time and materials and there for has separate rates and time constraints.
  7. Options Available During Scheduling
As you might know, sweating is a great way to burn calories and rid your body of unwanted toxins. But how do you sweat when you’re injured, or unable to exercise? Infrared saunas help your body release a number of toxins, including heavy metals like mercury and lead, and environmental chemicals. The benefits don’t stop there. With infrared sauna technology, you can relieve unwanted pain, increase your circulation, and purify your skin.
